Tibor's 9 Minutes

Last week we had the privilege of hosting a very special man from Hungary on his first visit to South Africa.  His name: Tibor Putnoki.   Tibor is no ordinary man; in fact, what makes him more than special is that in 1994 he died - for nine minutes he was clinically dead, before he would come back and return with a very special message to share with the world: you are here to be happy, and to be love.

Thanks to the vision and fundraising abilities of Angela Youdale from the UK, South Africans got to experience Tibor Putnoki's message for the first time. Dressed in his traditional Hungarian costume, Tibor, who uses a translator as he does not speak any English, talked about the events in his life which culminated in a Nine Minute Clinical Death experience, which opened the door to a different way of seeing the world and living life.  For those of us who were present, the evening was very moving and magical, as he shared with us how he experienced the after life world.  In his own words "I was shown a movie of my life, everything I had done, everything I had been.  Next to this screen, there was another screen which at the same time played my life as it 'could' have been.  What the highest possibility was.  After the movie was played, a voice spoke to me telling me 'Its okay. It all can be redeemed.  Go back, and remind others that the purpose of Life is to be Happy, and to be and give Love.  All the knowledge you need to do this and more, is already inside of you."

After Tibor came back to life, he made a commitment to share his life story with as many people as possible, and in order to do so he established The Light of Love Foundation, a non-profit organization that meets the needs of modern people who are looking for a means to re-balance themselves and their lives - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.   The foundation also promotes creative activities which enable people to value themselves, courses that promote self-knowledge, community building through working on practical projects that teach the value of our fellow human beings as well as developing new skills, and self-development camps.

On his last day in Cape Town, Tibor, Angela Youdale and a group from the Light of Love Foundation visited the Bonnytoun Detention facility accompanied by our CEO Anne Lise Bure. While at BonnyToun Tibor had the opportunity to bring his message of Love and Healing to several South African Youth, helping them regain balance in their lives.

Thank you Angela for making Tibor's first visit to South Africa possible!
