Mission and Purpose

Mission Statement

The Novalis Ubuntu Institute is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing, honoring, and nurturing the unique gifts, talents, and inner resources that every person was born with.  Through educational programmes inspired by the teachings of Rudolph Steiner, that teach and disseminate the universal spiritual values embodied in the African philosophy of Ubuntu – dignity, love and respect – we are agents of individual and social transformation.

Purpose Statement

The Novalis Ubuntu Institute is committed to individual and social transformation through holistic education programmes that promote sustainability, social justice, creativity and peace.  These programmes combine the universal spiritual values embraced in the African philosophy of Ubuntu and Waldorf Education.
